Domestic Charges of Packages Shipped within the United States

Alden's Books has very reasonable shipping and handling charges. The charges are skewed towards the multiple books buyers.

For the first book purchased, the shipping and handling fee is $3.95. Any book added to the order incurs only an additional $1.25 per book. As an example, if you were to order one book only for a price of $2.33, Alden's Books will charge you an additional $3.95 for shipping and handling. Your total charge will then be $6.28. If you were to add a second book to the same order, the second book would incur only a $1.25 shipping and handling charge, for a total of $7.23 plus the cost of the second book.

If you were to order a total of $50.00 or more of books, all your shipping and handling charges will be waived! Shipping and handling will be totally free! If you are ordering from outside of the state of Illinois (or internationally) Alden's Books does not collect sales tax; this can mean a savings of up to 10% of your total purchase price.

All shipments have United States Postal Service Delivery Confirmation service. We can verify actual delivery of your purchase with this service. This service tracks the date, ZIP code, and time your package was delivered. If delivery was attempted, but not completed, we will have the date and time of attempted delivery. You, the buyer, can easily access this information with the United States Post Office Track & Confirm too (click here): Track & Confirm. Now, you will have the ability to track your package online and know it's status.

International Charges of Packages shipped outside of the United States

Please contact Alden's Books (Info@AldensBooks.com) for specific shipping and handling charges. Each country is different and require customized instructions. Delivery Confirmation service is not available for international shipment, but other tracking services are available and it will be up to Aldens Books to determine the best way, and safest way, to get your package to you.
